I was trying to download these pictures in the right order but it did not work out, so May goes backwards. This picture is taken on Memorial Day weekend at Riverside State Park in Spokane. It was fun to watch the rushing river from the pedestrian suspension bridge. Bjorn and Inge were very excited by the rapid water. I was just trying to remember that fairly sturdy boards kept them from the water, but it was a little nerve wracking!

We decided to have a campout for Memorial Day weekend in our backyard just in case things did not go well with the kids. This was fortunate because Bjorn did not take well to the tent when it was time for sleeping. He did enjoy playing in it with Inge as you can see below. They are so silly sometimes!



Bjorn likes to sit and leaf through the scriptures sometimes. He can get in and out of the rocking chair by himself.



Near the beginning of the month we took pictures at Manito Park just as we did last year. Inge and Bjorn were darling and the lilacs were heavenly.

Inge had her first pigtails this month. Isn't she cute!

Inge likes to wear my high-heals. What little girl doesn't like to wear mommy's shoes?

We planted our garden and all our annuals, as well as a few perenials and it is so exciting to see our garden growing!
